Nationals - May 2 & 3, 2009
Gifford Pinchot State Park, Lewisberry PA
This is just a brief announcement of our upcoming weekend during which
we will have our National Specialty, award our Grand Victor/Victrix,
National Selects as well as host other events in addition to the conformation
shows. This will be our first major event held by the ISSDC that is not
in conjunction with another organization. We look forward to seeing everyone
come out and participate or cheer everyone on!

10:00 am - 12:00 pm : CGC Testing, Marti Nottingham (small
fee day of event)
10:00 am - 12:00 pm : Rally-O Practice Runs, Nancy Dietz (small
fee day of event)
10:00 am - 12:00 pm : Late Registration for Saturday & Sunday
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm : Pot Luck Luncheon (bring something to share)
1:00 pm : ISSDC Specialty Dog Show
Our Annual ISSDC Meeting will be held after the show. Please plan on
attending, we promise to keep it short – we have lots to discuss
and need your feedback!

3-6 Month Puppy Pre-Entry $10.00/show, Day of Show $12.00/show

must be into ISSDC one (1) week prior to date of show, to be considered
a Pre-Entry

Trophy Donations:
We will be awarding trophies at the Show. Please support the ISSDC by
contributing $35.00 towards our trophy fund. During the PP checkout process,
please click on the "special instructions to sellers" link to provide us
with your kennel name etc that will be engraved on the back of the trophy
(i.e. donated by Ridgewood Shilohs).

Guifford Pinchot State Park at 2200 Rosstown Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339
(12 miles from Harrisburg and York) at the Conewago Day Use Area Ball
Field.

Camping:
Camping is available at the Guifford Pinchot Park [camping
information]. You can RSVP the sites over the phone for Pinchot at
1-888-727-2757. It is first come, first serve. If the dog sites are full,
a second place for camping is Ben Franklin Park, 1350 Woodberry Rd, York
PA - 717-792-9612.
Hotels:
We have a very special rates at the Quality Inn and Suites at 2600 East
Market Street, York, PA (717-755-1966) of $79.99 with a one-time pet
fee of $10 per room (not per dog). We have 10 rooms on the main level
blocked under the ISSDC. There is a grassy area, microwave and refrigerators
are available if requested, Continental Breakfast included but there
are no elevators so book quickly! Hotel is approximately 15 minutes
away from the Park.
IMPORTANT: Please also keep in mind that you must be a
current member of the ISSDC in order to attend as well as participate
in the events of the weekend. Anyone that is not currently a member and
would like to be or a member that has not renewed their membership for
2009 please do so now [join/renew now].
